I live in the Stuart, FL area and Im planning on switching from a flats boat back to a bass boat this spring and based on information I have been gathering for a while I have my heart set on ordering a Pantera IV. I fish solo most of the time and the specs, reputation, and reviews make it seem like a perfect fit for my needs. Unfortunately the dealer footprint is limited in FL and the closest Pantera IV I can find listed is at a dealer in GA, about a six-seven hour drive one way. I would love to make the factory trip, but by the time I get a chance to do so it will likely be summer. The FL dealer has a PII in stock but if anything I want to make sure the IV is large enough for me in person (would probably start considering a Cougar if not). Is there anyone with a late-model PIV in SFL or CFL who wouldnt mind letting me come take a close look at their rig sometime?
The P4 is pretty much a baby Regular Puma, Not FTD model. Though the P4 is wider at the bow than the regular Puma, probably more similiar to the FTD in width. But the rear compartment and layout of the Puma (Non-FTD) and the PIV will give you a good idea. If you find yourself over at Okeechobee next week let me know and ill show you my puma, have pwned a P4 for 4 years and will be able to explain the differences in the Puma, Puma FTD, Cougar (FTD) and P4. Im down in Fort Lauderdale, I have a 2011 Puma and a buddy has a 2014 Puma FTD down the road. It will give you a good idea.
Thanks for the reply, that would be great. I would make it a point to get over there to see it. For work Im anywhere from Vero down to Homestead depending on the week and could likely arrange to catch up with you pretty much whenever/wherever you have the time, weekday or weekend.
A long ways but, a very nice P4 in Springfield, Mo.
The SportsCenter in Perry, GA did have a new PIV recently. Not sure if they still have it, but that is quite road trip from central/south FL.
Yes, that one in Perry is the closest dealer with one it seems. Long haul, but Im considering taking this Friday off to drive and seeing it on Saturday if it is not sold before. Im a bigger guy whos not so young anymore and want to mainly make sure Im not contorting myself to get behind/out from behind the console. If that checks and they have as much fishing room as everyone says Ill be putting an order together in Feb.

Might be worth your time!! Your call!
Yes, I saw that one in MO. It looks very nice, but not color or rigged how I would order. Thanks for the response.
Bigkahuna, I had the same problem you have now. I could not find a P4 anywhere near me to look at before buying. I ended up going to Branson Mo. for vacation and stopped by the local BCB dealer. They hooked me up with a guy who had just bought one and he was nice enough to bring it down and let me crawl all over it. I am glad I got to see one before I ordered one, cause I originally wanted a dual console but after seeing how tight it was in between the consoles I got the single console. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask away. I love my 2013 P4. Ed
P4SHO: Ill crawl all over one also at my first opportunity for sure, but going by your username, how do you like the Yamaha on it? Have a non-sho Yamaha 4 stroke on my current boat and intend to get the SHO also. What prop do you run?
