I you what you mean. Rods and reels cleaned and serviced for the year. Even cleaned the cork handles on all my Legend Tournament and Avid rods and sealed them with U-40. Tackle all organized. Even the new, Im bored as $h!+ so Im going Academy AGAIN, tackle. New enclosed carport is all done. Wired, lighted, shelving hung, work bench in place. I even bought a like new diamond plate truck toolbox off my neighbor for $20.00 (he wanted a black one). Cleaned it up inside and removed the trays and converted it to a storage box for my Aurora cover WHEN I finally take it off the boat again. Boats been covered now for close to 6 weeks. My wife says between the clearance sales at Gander and Academy, the extras for the carport/shop, and all the other “winter blahs” shopping Ive done it would be cheaper for me to fish 5 days a week. Im good with that. I was going to suck it up and go this week when the daytime temps got around 45-50. Then my sweet wife got sick. Not the Flu, but viral with fever, cough, aches, the works. Down for the count for 4 days now. Im going next week no matter what. Put on the 100MPH suit and throw some of the H20 Ultimate Shad jerkbaits I tuned to suspend a little better. Saturday and Sunday its time for playoff football and cold frothy beverages. So, its not all bad.
