Jackplate Replacement Question

Possibly a BCB question, if you were to replace a manual plate with a hydraulic plate, would the holes line up. I know BCB uses a six bolt mounting, soooo, if you purchased a hydraulic plate from them, can you just bolt it on without drilling holes? Specifically thinking of replacing a manual slidemaster with a new hydraulic Atlas. Thanks

Dabro, Yes, the Atlas plate would be the same six-bolt design as your old manual plate. Both are special designs for BCB.

They do bolt right up but Iwould consider the Detwiler plate. Easy installation and I think they are a stronger and better built plate. JMO Pro-Tec Productswww.protecproducts.com

On the other hand, if you will ever add power poles, you can bolt the short brackets to the Atlas. The Detwiler requires longer brackets which wobble. Not sure if this has changed.

Appreciate the responses, dont have my cat yet. A lot of the used boats Ive looked at have the stock slidemaster plate. I definitely wanted a hydraulic on my next boat so thats why the inquiry. Nice to know they will bolt right up.
