Boat sick?

250 pro xs on a 2013 cougar ftd. I know the motor needs a doc but was just wondering if anybody had any idea what was happening. Motor sounds horrible when you give it gas( sometimes). Kinda like it has split identity , one time it jumps out an hits the 80 mark fast!! Next time it has 20 sec hole shot an will run 60-65 wot. What the heck?

check spark plug wires. then take to wrench if that doesnt solve

I had a boat do this and my water separator was full. You may to check that.

Mine did that with it idling sparadically. It ended up being the tracker valve. And it fouled the plus also, which are $140 for set on a good day.

Thanks for the ideas for those that responded. Got it going now! Cant believe I didnt check plugs/wires! I have had it happen 3 times before an caught it but guess it was to simple this time. Had a bad end on wire , wouldnt stay on plug.
