I decided to build a rod organizer for my 1994 Pantera 2 and thought someone might want one as well. It is not perfect and I do see something I would do differently now but overall I think it turned out really well. Here are some pictures of the finished product.I used a 2×4 up front to hold the tubes and put ten tubes in it. The tubes holes are 1 3/8” in diameter and I picked up the tubes at Academy in the golf section. I angled the leftmost two holes to the right to allow the tube to follow the curve of the boat when installed. The rear section I made out of half inch plywood with a 1”x 2” on top and a 1”x4” on bottom. The holes are 1 ľ” in diameter. I spaced them at three inches from center to center and put six per row. When I had a Jaguar I used to put two rods in one tube sometimes and thought I might do the same here but after building this I realize thats not the case. If I was to build this again I would not put the sixth hole and would space out the five remaining holes to 3 Ľ” or 3 ˝” between centers. Here are the drawings of the front and rear if you want them. If you cannot read them and want them drop me a line and I’ll send them to you in PDF format. Hope this helps someone. Note you need to remove the hatched area on the front piece. I would make the first cut then make the second to get the angles right.Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,Mike Coffee]Last edited by NacCat on April 22nd, 2014, 5:13 am, edited 1 time in total.
