Just ordered a hole shot plate from R&R to install on my Slidemaster jackplate. The jackplate has a Humminbirg transducer and saver mounted to it from the factory. Has anyone installed this hole shot plate and can you tell me how it attached and is installed? Will the transducer mounting be affected? Thanks.

I have seen them used on other boats. All of them I have see have had a special mounting to move the transducer to mount below the hole shot plate. You make can look around on the internet for one.

If its identical to this one from Team C&O its actually a backwash plate.http://www.teamcandomarine.com/catalog_ … yword=HSP6If you look up inside your SlideMaster from the underside youll see two mounting holes. Theyre located on either side of the JP adjustment screw in the center. The backwash plate actually mounts up inside the JP. Shouldnt interfere at all with your transducer mount.

Ordered one from R&R who makes the slidemaster for BC. Got it but the holes did not line up. Called and was told the BC slidemaster is different and needed another splash plate. Now I need to send back so they can send the correct one. If there are options you would think a simple question at ordering of what boat is your jackplate on would resolve the hassle for all. Oh well!

Thanks for that information. I was about to order one from Team C&O. Did you take a look at the one at the link above. Is that comparable in design ad price to the one you ordered for your SlideMaster? Im very curious before I place an order.
