Boat weight on BCB Site

Does the approximate weight of each boat model include a motor in the estimate?If not, any idea on some approximate weights for 200 HP Opti and SHO?Thanks!Matt

No, just dry hull weight I believe. Motor weights on motor websites. Ive got the 200 Opti and it weighs around 505 lbs dry. Yamaha probably around same but Id check their site. If looking at a tow vehicle, consider weight of fuel, oil, fishing gear, boat equipment, TM, and trailer (single or duel axle) when deciding on what to buy.http://www.mercurymarine.com/engines/ou … s/?model=3

Thanks. I didnt figure they added an average weight in but wanted to check.Im just thinking about a Pantera Classic rigged up with a 200 SHO (Yamaha site shows 505 lbs too). The lightweight of both boat and motor would produce an absolute rocket ship of a 19 boat….Appreciate the reply….-MW

My 06 Classic with an Optimax 200 will make your rectum pucker so tight you couldnt drive a soda straw up it with a sledge hammer. Just sayin. lol

The seats in my 99 with a hopped up pro-v 200 have ridges right down the center from front to back . Mucho pucker factor indeed . Most fun I ever had with all my clothes on !!!

Im in a Classic (2007) also with 200 Opti. Run a 26 Fury and the hole shot will put you out in front of the 20 – 21 rigs with 250s on short runs. The other Cats gonna get ya though on a long run. Most other brands, not so much

I was told I need a 25 Fury but others are running the 26 Fury with good results. Have you ever run a 25 Fury on yours? What is your max RPMs at WOT? Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
