Hi guys!!Im thinking of having my boat wrapped by wakegraphics. But is there any specific designs when it comes to fishing? There are some awesome design in their website but I want something original and perfectly suited for fishing. Any suggestions?
Out of curiousity Ryan, what does a wrap usually cost and what should a person charge for advertising per square foot? Thanks in Advance
Most wraps today are in between $3,000 and $4,500. They are out there for less with a quality job if you shop it. Though the material is also a major issue. Some materials will not withstand the usage, and some installations are issues also. From our perspective, the wraps hurt our boat identity, so we are not in favor of wraps. We do understand and recognize the reason that Elite anglers are required to have them. They do bring other sponsorship into the sport. FLW is the fishing company that started the wrap trend to bring exposure to their brand sponsors. Though they were not individually sold by those anglers. FLW controls all those sponsorships which we are aware of. Wraps were first popularized by companies with panel trucks and radio stations. They were less money than a custom airbrush job. For a local angler or business owner, we certainly think a wrap is probable for extended exposure. It does gain some BCB
My guy can do a wrap on the boat for 1200. so you would look at a price of 2400 for the boat and truck, as far as the price, well I would suggest you check the local, area and market for pricing of other kinds of advertisment and base your price on that.
Ive used a company called ADZ on the Go (www.adzonthego.com ). They use 3M material and go the extra mile to make sure that your wrap stays on your boat. Rich Dalbey is the owner and is very talented when it come to creating art work. Go to his website and check out some of his work. His average boat wrap runs around $2500.00. To follow up on my last post, it is important to make sure that who ever does your wrap that they do use the correct material, and apply several coats of sealer. One Stop Sign and Graphics are very good at what they do, and at 1200 dollars its a deal
Does anyone have a picture of a boat wrap for a real estate company they can send me? Thx
Hello, I am the owner of a Sign A Rama Franchise in Peterborough Ontario. CanadianMacI can find you a picture of a wrap for a Real Estate company if you wish.We are presently pricing our first boat wrap after wrapping over 100 vehicles including trailers, and busses. If any of you would like a quote on a boat wrap, please let me know the boat make, year and if you have the dimensions that would be helpful as well.Hope to connect with some of you, to both of our benefit.ThanksMorgan
No wrap will ever be put on my boat without someone paying me CASH! A wrap on the truck is double the CASH! A good wrap costs more than 3K and even then damage can be done to the boat during the installation and during the removal. Seen it done on more than one or two boats by reputable wrap companies! While it may protect in some cases from rubs against stumps, brush, and docks those same rubs can usually be buffed out by a high speed buffer. Im completely amazed at the number of amateur anglers that will have their boat wrapped on their coin for little or nothing. On the other hand, if you want to wrap your boat with your company, then by all means knock yourself out and can understand that one. I wonder how many Elite BASS anglers would have a wrap if they werent required to have them? My guess is a lot fewer than you might think! My opinion only!
Heres where mine was wrapped, best thing I ever did.http://www.imageonestudios.com/default.aspBAYOU BANDIT

We dont know the company though many wrap companies contract installers and we would choose a known boat wrap installer that has a reputation. Any company can print a wrap on vinyl, though installation is a large factor as well as not using air channel materials that water flows under and blows off. We have seen oat wrap installers do in excess of $6,000.00 in damages to boat Gelcoat on the install. BCB
Do you have a recommended list of boat and truck wrap companies that have a positive reputation for not ruining the finish of either the boat or the vehicle? Thanks
The factory does not have a list and they do not like boat wraps.
