Had an up and down weekend at Truman. We had a pair of club tournaments, took second on Saturday but blanked on day two, only at Truman!! Anyway the highlight Sunday was the take off, nice crisp morning with just enough chop on the water. My 13 Cougar Adv. Elite hit 73.8 mph on the GPS, pretty good for 225 Mercury Pro XS and a standard prop!!! Buddies brand new 14 Ranger 520 with 250 Yamaha SHO couldnt beat it.
