I was told that the red throw cushion from Basscat would fit in the box. I ordered it and it does not fit. Was I told wrong or did I get the wrong cushion? Thanks for the help.

The throw cushion should fit under the lid, mine does.

My Cougar came with the cushion already under the lid of the step box.

Is there more than one type of fiberglass step box? I have seen pictures of one that has cup holders built in. Mine does not have cup holders.

I think there is more than one maybe. My 06 Cougar had a carpeted step box with cup holders. My 09 had a fiberglass box with no cup holders.

A throw cushion stores beneath either type of step box. Ive had them both. The step box with the cup holders is larger and the throw cushion fits better.
