While fishing a small tournament today I could not keep water in the livewell of my 08 Classic even though I had the Flow Rite Control on Auto. It got progressively worse as the day went on. I looked at the cable assembly at the valve and it appears to be actuating the valve fully. I assume it must be a bad valve? Also I looked at that Flow Rite Website and they have a real good explanation of what the control valve does. Its supposed to close when “on plane” and allow water livewell to top it self off automatically when “off plane”. So evidently if its working properly you will get new water to top off any lost out of the overflow. So it would seem that it would take a large amount of ice to cool the livewell for those fish caught in the hot Texas summer months? Good news was the 29.07# Five fish limit made it through all this with some close watching the water levels. By the end of the day I could only go about 1 mile before the water was too low and I had to stop and refill.Last edited by Fishspanker on August 25th, 2008, 1:48 am, edited 1 time in total.
