Finally got my new to me P4 down to LA from up north and have gotten a few hours of drive and fishing time on it. It is the maroon 03 that was on Phils site. This boat rides, handles and most importantly fishes great. I still have alot of seat time to go, but with the inner plate about 1″ higher, 25 Tempest with all large PVS holes, full kicker tanks, almost empty main and my gear which isnt alot, SUPER hole shot, good water pressure, smartcraft trim around 2.5-3, I got 65 GPS today. I know it probably has a little more, but I need seat time to get more comfortable with things. Do these numbers sound about par for this rig etc? Also, I see most P4 guys use 25 and 26 tempests and trophys. What is the difference in each? On another topic, this boat is an 03 and I am the 3rd owner and this has to be one of the cleanest, well kept boats I have ever seen. There are ZERO stress cracks, minimal scratches ( obviously they dont have cypress knees and rebar up north) seats and carpet are immaculate, and the compartments still have a “new” smell to them, no squeaks, nothing. NO leaks in any compartments after fishing in a heavy North LA rain the other day. Just wanted to give an update on my ride and Im sure Ill have more questions. Want to thank BCB for a great product.
