Changing out my fuel line and bulb. One installed, I cant get pressure in the bulb to bring fuel through.

Which way should the arrow on the bulb point? The old one was pointing back towardthe gas tank.

The arrow shows which way the fuel flows. Turn your bulb around and you should be good to go.pant 2Bob

Thats what I thought too Bob about the fuel flow. Ive got it installed that wayand still cant get the bulb firm. Gonna put it in the driveway with the ears onand start it up. See if it will pump some fuel through.

Some bulbs have to be primed to get fuel to flow and we put a little pressure on the tanks with a small bicycle pump. Probably a faulty fuel bulb we think, though prime it and see. BCB

Hooked up hose to engine and ran for a good 5 minutes. Stillcant get pressure in bulb, but its obviously getting fuel.???

BCB. How and where do you hook up that bicycle pump on an 07 Puma?

If it has fuel flow, then the bulb is faulty. If you connected it backwards then the flapper valves are pressed open. If not then it is just faulty. The fuel VST on the engine obviously has enough fuel to allow the fuel pump to pull it up, though the faulty bulb could restrict flow also.
