Deck lights

Heres a silly question. I just bought a 2000 P3 and I cant figure out how to turn on the deck lights. The previous owner thought you just pushed the light and it looks like the new ones are like that but he said that he never used them and these dont seem to push in. What switch operates the lights? Thanks

I believe those are toggle lights. You push at the top or the bottom to rotate the light itself to make them work. Somebody had to show me too…… Make sure the master is on also. GeorgeGeorge

Yes, the lights rotate either up or down to turn on. The master power needs to be on. If they dont come on, then you probably have a bad connection with the light bulb. You can pull out the light assembly by gently prying it out from the edge. Clean up the contact points, and your light should work fine. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax
