bcb has been warning everyone of another shallow anchor prepared to hit the market. they just never gave up any details. i love the “straight down” design, as opposed to an arm extending outward and down. takes away the need for hydralics? these “shallow water anchors” will become standard accessories for most boats (bassboats, bayboats, skiffs, pontoon boats and party barges) before all is said and done.

Yep, some guys knew about it, but it was Hush Hush……Go MinnKota…….competition always makes things better for you the consumer……
nice!!! now to find 2000cca battery!!!
Its a good deal but not any cheaper, hopefully someone will come out with one that us poor folks can afford.
It looks like the overall height is by where you bolt it down. That might be an issue to clear most standard garage doors. I know the P-pole has to be partially lowered to fit. Of course this looks like it is removable which would be nice for either part of the season or if your going to be in rough water.
its a lot cheaper if you add up the extras like remotes are $300 from powerpole, minnkota remotes are included, mounts should be a little cheaper than powerpoles too, it looks like it detaches from the mount in seconds but well see when more info is released
At least the price is lower than the power pole and it appears it might be more practical since it can be mounted lower to fit under garage doors. Its still more money than I can justify just to anchor my boat…but maybe in time, the price may come down. Plus…to work well, just like the power pole, you probably really need two of them…oh well.
Two questions.1. What is the price of the Talon?2. What up on the “DIGITAL” Chargers. What are the benefits of a digital battery charger vs. current models?
