I have heard of guys running these quick release brackets to save equipment in big water and hotel parking lots. Wondering if anyone has used either quick release MKA-23 or MKA-52/62 before? Im interested in the composite puck type bracket (MKA-23) because it will fit my Maxxum 42 and 52 inch shafts but Im worried of any noise or slop they may have? Anyone?
I am running the quick release on my Fortrex. It is pretty easy to install and if you want to remove you TM, just pull the pin and slide the bracket out and lift off the TM. Be sure to unplug it first.
