It covers human scents, and also is a bit less offensive to boaters, carpet, etc,,,,, The fish seem to like it as well ! And you dont want an overly offensive odor, just enough to get them to hold on a second longer.
I still put MegaStrike on mine. Caffeine Shad and Megastrike in thick grass is money. Lets put it this way, I had megastrike on my Caffeine Shads, and my partner didnt add anything. With that being said I out fished him 4 to 1 today. Food for thought.- Chaz
Here is the story told to me by someone at Strike King..hopefully I get the gist of it correctOne of the pros was thinking one day while fishing…back in the day we would always use old coffee cans to put our worms in after we dug them out of the yard. The can always smelled of coffee still and some of it must have transferred to the bait.Strike King started to do some testing of the Coffee sent on baits and found that bass reacted to it in a positive manner. After some extensive testing and getting the scent dialed in…..The Strike King Coffee sent was born. I am a firm believer in the scent and have seen it out fish other scents on the same boat. Spray it direct on any bait or even better spray it into the entire bag of plastics and let it soak.Jamey
