Last time this was talked about, several people “poo pood” on the idea, saying that jumper cables work just as good and nearly as fast if you are organized enough to get to them and hook them up quickly. Nobody said it was a bad idea, just that as a time saver it was not much better than jumper cables. It is a good idea if you want something quick and easy. I have also carried a portable emergency jumper in my rod locker when I knew my battery was getting low. Also, in the previous discussion it was really a discussion about it being faster and a time saver, not really whether or not it worked. I think the product itself works fine and I know several pros have it installed on their boatsLast edited by toledobasser on January 29th, 2013, 10:16 pm, edited 1 time in total.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
