Corky they said your boat will be done by September, Ha,ha,ha,ha……are you chompin at the bit yet?? Give Brannon a break. He is just having fun. Dont take it so seriously. And yes those Merc 4 strokes are dogs. Brannon please post the pics. We all love to see a new Cat take shape.

Phil: You are one cold dude!!!!! I could not possibly wait that long for the boat. I am already way overly excited about the boat! All joking aside, Phil, I sure do thank you for all of the counseling that you provided on the boat purchase. I will keep you informed of her performance when she comes in. Corky

As for the Merc Four strokes being dogs… Ron Pierce has one at his home on Lake Fork in Texas. He mentioned it would run Upper 6os (68-69) with a load and two (2) guys. The Mercury Verado will outperform all four strokes in its class. Ron gave some amazing fuel burn numbers on a trip from Garret Creek to the Dam & back. 24 Fury. Did not mean they were really bad. Just stirring the pot a little. Heck I think Yamaha built the power heads for those 4 strokes years back prior to the Verado.

BCB…please tell of the amazing fuel burn numbers..WHY HOLD BACK?? Brannon..he loves what he does very fun guy to talk to ..i owned a merc..would own another but thinking bout an etec for my next boat.
