Hey guys my roomate and I are on the Arkansas Tech fishing team and have our first college tournament next saturday in Little Rock on the river…hopefully well do alright!!! Any tips would be helpful!!
Anywhere but here ! And NO, IM NOT KIDDING ! The river sux right now,.,,,,,i refuse to fish within the pools 5, 6, or 7.Stay on Dardanelle,,,,,,,, theres still a few good fish there ! lol

Everyday is a new day on a river and somewhat on a lake. 24 hour in advance data is nice but cant sting em. Fish for 3 days in front of event youll learn some areas theyre living in but once again- everyday is a new day.That said.Right now Id go where the bait is. If you practice and you dont see a lot of bait around you probably aint gonna catch em. Some days theyve been in the river more, some days in the backwaters(certain ones) more.Personally if I had to fish for my life Id probably goto 5 but would try to find some early fish in 6 before I locked through to 5.Screw that drop shot stuff. Power fishing all day will produce better fish since its cooled off.C.O.D. Jr. III
I was thinking my partner aaron would power fish while i threw finesse stuff out of the back of the boat jigs, shaky heads, etc. lol hopefully well do alright!!
