Had a little fun with the Basscat this week at the cottage and now need to do some gel coat repair to the bottom of the boat. Nothing structural, just lots of chip type damage.I have done some searches on the site to find what is the best way to fix it, mine is a 2004, plain white bottom. One of the answers I found said boats up to 2003 need X, while boats from 2006 need Y. Mine is in the middle of this range (2004) so what do I need. I can get the serial number if that is needed. I used Marine Tex to fix a chip I had from a road stone and it came out very yellow so I am looking for something that looks better.
