All brands of chargers are an issue. BCB has frequently commented that this is one trend they wish they had not started. The issues they list are charging the rated amperage on low voltage lines, which some solid state chargers do not provide, and durability. They had a test at various voltages years ago and the CMR charger did quite well at down to 50 volts, though some fell out at under 110 with less than one amp of output. Most any charger will work fine at home on a good short cord with good voltage. BCB
