A big thanks to the Bass Cat guys that participated in the Quincy Fishing for Freedom event held this weekend. BCB owners came in from St. Louis, northern Illinois, and Iowa.Bass Cat was strong on the leader board. Tough river fishermen!The river was several feet over flood stage. The river has been up and down, pushing fish back into the trees to roam, and the sucking them back out to the mouths of creeks. A retired Gunny from Camp Lejeune won.http://www.fishingforfreedomquincy.org/ I had big fish. A 4.44lb Mississippi River toad that I caught in pool 21.One of the war fighters summed it up when he said on stage; “I just dont want this day to end”. Please support FFF events.
