Would I run into any trouble removing onr of the gas tanks from my 97 Pantera II? I fish smaller lakes and 50 gallon is more than I would use all summer. I want to remove one tank and get some storage room. Any problem with doing this? Also I have these Lowrance round sonar things in my dash and on the bow. If I remove them what could I fill the hole with? Do they have a cover plate of some sort? Also one of my Pantera II decals is messed up. Can these still be bought?

You should be able to still get the decals, and the tank can be removed, though it is a chore and you need to be sure and mark or seal the other fill nozzle. There are plugs that will fit the holes, though BCB does not stock them. BCB Team

Why remove the round things? Ive got two on my boat, probably havent been used 3 times in 4 yrs, they do fill the hole well.BAYOU BANDIT

Fix the decal and leave the rest alone ! If you need more storage,,,get rid of everything you have not used in the last year, and youll have more storage ! Dont remove a perfectly good fuel cell, you will never get it back in the same place, besides the bilge is no good for storage.Good luck, D.

DB, is right, battery fumes will ruin anrthing in the bilge.BAYOU BANDIT
