I recently changed out the superdash on my 2000 Jaguar to an aluminum plate containing all of the gauges and new touch pad for aerator etc. Now after hooking up the trim gauge i took the boat out and have found i have a problem with the calibration of the gauge or the sender unit. From what i have found out the sender unit is giving a reading of ohms and the trim gauge has a range that it will read and display. From when i have the motor all the way down to the top of the high speed operating range Im only using 25% of the gauge.I installed a Teleflex Amega gauge and need to fond out if my sender unit is compatible. Does anyone have the info on the sender unit that i would need or possibly what the ohm reading should have be on the gauge. Im running a merc 250XB if that makes a difference.New to the boat and any help will be greatly appreciatedThanks guys
