Gary,Great to meet you also! That is the way it goes sometimes….and why they continue to call it fishing. It was a rough trip, I was trying to get my 70 yr old father and 11 and 8 yr old sons hooked up but the wind and fronts made it difficult. Even if the bass fishing is spotty, I can usually find some whites and yellows to keep them entertained but not this time. We just hit a few bad days. I think fishing was much better earlier in the week as well. Thanks for the compliments on the Eyra…it handled wonderfully in the wind. Although when it is above 20mph out of the N or S on KY I prefer to just stay off of the main lake. I moved to the Eyra specifically due to fishing KY and also wanting a bit more room, but ran a P2 from 2007 until 2011 and loved it. Your P2 is very sharp !Yes the Cats were out, I saw a Sabre FTD, Pantera, your P2 plus another and of course Capt Kirk (one of the guides that puts in at KenLake) and his blue Cougar. Not sure what year it is but he fishes out of it everyday and has for years. (BassCat strong!)My Dad really enjoys eating at the Willow Pond (loves the beans and hushpuppies) so all was not lost. It is just good getting out with Dad and the boys and a pleasure to run into you as well. Thanks for you note, hope to see you on the lake and drop me a note anytime. Alan
