We live in houston so its easier to go saltwater fishing when that “we feel like fishing spur hits”, but both our hearts are in the bassboat. I was raised in a basscat bassboat since i can recall, before my family got older and my dad gave up chasing his dream and made the choice to do what he had to do to support his family and give his kids the life he never had as a kid.”witch i will never be able show how thankful i am for”. He was on the basscat team and fished alot of the top B.A.S.S. events in the late 80s until 97 was his last team boat. So i grew up prefishing with my dad about every weekend and hearing all the stories about the tournaments. His study is full of some pretty cool B.A.S.S. top 6 trophies and all kinds of club stuff so i have a love of fishing that was bread in me from him. There is no one i would rather share the front of a boat with. Its a fair game on who will win now, until he pulls out the flippinstick then he whips my ***. Just like basscat is a family owned pride the owners share a lot of family pride in the owning of their boats, and they have helped my dad share one of the greatest gifts i will ever have. My dad is out of the country on business and im sure he will read this so i love you dad and from the Corleys thank you to Ron, Jan and Rick Pierce for building the boats that helped a father give his son the greatest gifts in life, and i am sure there are a lot of families like mine..Last edited by basscat632 on October 11th, 2012, 6:02 am, edited 4 times in total.
