Try a Mr. Clean Magic eraser. They wont scratch and do a very good job of removing scuff marks, and road grime/tar.Your Signature …

Sam the u bolts I found were too long and were hitting the roller and the threads did not go back far enough so I ordered some that should be here this week.I hope they are here by Thursday so I can check it out on the steep ramp at the river.The lake I fish is too low and the ramps are closed but where I was having the problem is the river ramp.

Your bracket does put the roller up higher but I did not see one like it at the places I went.Its gonna be a tight fit with this one I have now.I might have to install it with the boat off the trailer?

I think that bracket comes with the wider roller. I can find one and send to you , no problem.BAYOU BANDIT

I was under the boat trying to install a second roller on my trailer when I noticed alot of black scuff marks from the back roller on the pad of the boat.I know you dont want to use wax on the pad,what do you guys use to clean the marks with?

A light compound and a buffer will do the trick.

You may be able to just use hand compound to bring up the polish. Though you may need a more aggressive grit to make it happen.

I use Turtle Clear Coat Compound. It is very fine, feels like tootpaste. Works pretty good since 2009.
