What size is the prop shaft nut on a 2008 200hp optimax? I am going to buy a prop wrench and wanted to make sure that I got the right size. Also, what size are the lug nuts on the 2008 Bass Cat tandem trailers? They look like 13/16″. Thanks for the help in advance.

All prop shaft nuts are the same size until you get down to the smaller engines. Dont remember what size the trailer lug nuts are. Sorry. Look in the archive section and you probably can find that.

1-1/16 is the prop shaft nut size (you can get a deep well socket at any hardware store) and I think you are right on the lugs, I dont know that one off the top of my head. Judd Lasiter

For my wheel lugs 07 P-2, it was not the standard size of my cars. I had to get one of those multi choice lug sockets. I think theyre 3/4s. BCParts has them however I dont think theyre any differiant than you can get at an auto parts store or, I bought mine, at Discount Tires.

Some are 13/16″ and some are 3/4″… It all depends on the purchase of parts, and availability. There are not many good chrome jobs on lug nuts, so we tend to bounce around as a result trying to improve. Though lug nuts will be either size. Also it would be wise to get a Spark Plug socket or a six point for either. They sometimes wont fit in the wheel. Such as a 4 way with those excessive cast ends. BCB
