I ran a 25 and 26 Trophy on my PII with 2.5 200 EFI for years, really isnt much difference in speed. This was all “pre-Fury”, but I found the Trophy to be better on holeshot, better load carrying and bow lift. The Tempest didnt use trim and the boat ran flatter. Actually had a 25 Tempest as a backup prop, fwiw.I could wind the Trophy out to 6k rpms and hit 74 on gps, so wouldnt think speed will be an issue vs. a Tempest.Never had a problem loading on the trailer either at various angles. I would think the loading would be more likely in the 20 foot/250 engines, but my brother doesnt seem to have problems loading his 06 Cougar FTD/ 250 XS using his Hydromotive 4 blade or his stock Trophy. May just need to play with launch and load as it will possibly be a little different. The most important thing is knowing what your engine prop setup is doing performance wise now…rpms, water pressure, handling, etc. Dont necessarily want to get the same pitch because you may not be satisfied. Can you try it before you buy it? If it is used it shouldnt be a problem…….
