I have a Border Collie that goes everywhere with me, including fishing. In my previous boat (a Skeeter), the carpet had tiny twisted loops (Im sure theres a term for this that I dont know). It caught dog hair and made vacuuming difficult. Last year, I replaced the carpet with the most expensive thing that a local boat-restorer had. Same problem. Ive noticed that in my new Puma, however, that the hair doesnt catch, but just sets on top of the carpet, which allows the wind to blow it away and makes whats left easy to vacuum. Im going to enjoy not having to vacuum as often. On the other hand, at the corners of lids, Ive seen a few small tufts of carpet come out. At the moment, this is not a cosmetic problem. Should I expect this carpet shedding to be confined to those corners? Thanks.
