He guys. Got the new P2 out today and I am in love again. The 200 Yamaha SHO is the real deal. I had this same rig with a 200 HPDI in 2008 so I have a baseline of comparison. So far the SHO has been close to equal as far as top end I have yet to move the plate from flush. I hit 73.3 today at 5700. Got some tweaking to do but I think it has 75 in it. I am running Flyswatters 25P Fury that Mark Croxton has balanced. The hole shot will snap your neck and the mid range punch is where the real difference is. The acceleration in the mid range is unlike anything I have experienced with a 2 stroke. I know most of you guys are Merc fans but this motor is impressive for a four stroke. Only got close to 4 hours on it but so far so good. I have not had to remove any excess oil it has made yet. Thanks to Rick and Scott Brech at Brech Marine in Selma, Al for getting me in this one as it has been a long time coming. Here are some pics.
