What does the factory recommend for sealing and protecting their new boats? I see Bass boat saver and pro-tec advertised on BBC . Any input from factory? And what does everyone else use on here ? My first BassCat is on order, got that new boat jitters!!2014 Puma FTD 250 XS

Mothers or another quality carnuba paste wax once or twice a year, and BBS or Pro-tec wipe down coming out of the water, and wipe the seats down with Pledge.

Mothers carnuba wax once a month. Wipe down with wet rag at ramp after each trip, then Lucas Slick Mist when I get home. Wash with Meguires boat wash if scum line requires it. Lucas Slick Mist is a similar product to BBS but easier to find for me. I have read many good posts regarding the Pro Tec products but have no personal experience with them. You will love your new Cat!!

Buy the Pro-Tec system. Wash it and seal it. Use the Showroom Polish to wipe it down. You shouldnt need the Nu-Paint Moisturizer on a new hull. The sealer works as advertised. My hull stays slick as a button. Nothing sticks to it. If youre not satisfied after you try it, PM me. Ill buy what you have left over.

Agree 110% with RazorCat–Protec is what I use. Easier to apply than any wax, and bonds to and seals the gelcoat. Best stuff Ive ever used on fiberglass, and Ive been using it for over 10 years.

I just bought a Pro-Tec kit…Cant wait to try it out…I have had great luck with 3M marine wax and BBS but thought I would give the Pro-Tec a shot…

We recommend Sealant Polish twice a year and use the Showroom Conditioner for your quick detail clean up. Pro-Tec Productswww.protecproducts.com

RC . & Mike W. , How did u apply the pro tec sealer to the bottom of boat? did u have it lifted of trailer or just did not do under bunks? Or do not u apply to bottom?2014 Puma FTD 250 XS
