0230 Saturday morning Im crusing down the interstate doing 60mph and some clown/clownette clipped the left fender on the trailer and just kept on going. Impact was enough to snap the rear channel support for the fender off the frame. Fender, lights etc. are toast, but was fortunate that he missd the boat. I have no idea how. Ill be calling in the AM to get a new one ordered. Since its a flake fender I imagine I wont have it in time to get installed prior to leaving for the OI. If you guys see a 06 Puma with a busted up fender and some kind of temporary lights, say hi. Just understand the pod look everytime I look at that fender.

I know the feeling! My very first trip out in my new boat in 2000, my father in law hit a parked trailer with my new boat trailer, it hurt!

I had someone hit and run my trailer last year while I was on the lake (which reminds me I need to get a new fender). It sucks for sure.

Yeah, had my trailor busted up twice last year. Just part of the owner experience I guess. It does suck but youll have that.

I had a new fender installed while I was pre-fishing for the OI last year. They needed the trailer over night but you could not tell which fender was replaced when I picked it up.

Yowman……. No, no info on the other driver. By the time I realized what was happening, they were fading into the night/morning. Talked to Simon, Pops Marine and the insurance co. this morning and Im going to try to get this fixed by the OI. Dont know if Ill make it (the fix), but well see.
