Yall,Howdy. Greetings from Iraq. Im starting to make plans for my bride and I to take a post-deployment trip to G-ville in September. Was hoping to get some recommendations for “pet friendly” lodging. I know the State Park is a good choice; are there any other options I should consider?Thanks much.Patrick
Patrick,Lots of folks stay at Creekstone Lodge. Its nothing fancy, but they allow pets and you can rent a unit with a garage for your boat. Its also inexpensive and you dont have to worry about your gear as much.Good Luck,Ben

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge. That was a couple of decades ago but I am by there every weekend and it is really nice. It has just been fully renovated. Check it out on their web site…..just do a Google search.
