I know, I was worried about scratches too. No scratches though and very impressed with results. Thats why I pre-cleaned screen to get dust, etc. off first and tried edges first. Last thing I want is $2500.00 of scratched screen. I tried all other tricks, vinegar, microfiber, etc. that worked in the past and nothing would get them off. These were really bad, like they were baked on there by sun and were very annoying. I keep a microfiber towel in the boat and screen cleaning solution for day to day use. I know others have their own tricks and for me this was a last resort when nothing else worked. Probably should be last resort as if not used properly could do some damage.
