The Fenders are clamped down on the newer models with Urethane adhesive which is a windshield adhesive for autos. You can try a floor jack or a wedge to remove the old fender, though that adhesive is TOUGH! The most accepted method has been to heat the underside of the fender and soften the adhesive, then pry the fender off. It may leave a bit of a mess in the black goo and you may want gloves and some solvent to cleanse things. Then reapply with clamps and new Urethane. The eletrical part is a matter of your choice, though unless you are coastal simple butt connections work well. BCB uses the bullet connectors for easy replacement of prewired accessories from BCB. That does have some protection from corrosion, and helps on replacement simplicity.
