I picked up a 2012 Margay two days ago and went out today for the “maiden voyage.” Theres a Humminbird 788 ci in the console and the depth aspect read 29″ all day long, every once in a while reading accurately, but quickly returning to the shallow depth. I might as well have been wearing a blindfold without an accurate depth reading. Might it be a BC factory installed through-hull and if so, where it it situated on the boat (I cannot find it)? It was not apparent to me that there was a way to get inside the hull to check for it, though it could be mounted on the floor in the rear compartment (where the gas tank and batteries are located). Also discovered that the Beede trim gauge is not working. Checked the connections and they seemed OK. Is it common for this gauge to fail? The gauge is analog and it is not even shown on the Beede Instrumentation web site. Thanks a lot.CJLast edited by cjrich on May 4th, 2014, 1:20 am, edited 5 times in total.
