I have a 2000 Sabre with the rocker switches and timer pod on the dash. When I turn the aerator on manual it works fine, when turned to automatic it runs 1 minute and shuts off and does not come back on unless I cycle the switch. Then it will run another minute and turn off. Will replacing the timer pod fix this or could it be the switch or both? Also I would like to add a recirculation pump because I believe this setup is only pumping in new lake water when running since I only have one pump in the bilge. What would my options be for adding a recirc pump? I havent lost any fish yet but thought a recirc pump would make it better. What are your thoughts? Thanks

My 92 Sabre had the rocker switches and timer pods. Mine worked on manual and didnt work at all on auto. I assumed it would be the switch but it ended up being the timer pod. The minimum runs for 30-45 seconds and shuts off in auto. The minimum is 15 minutes off and timed on, the maximum is 1 minute off and the 30-45 seconds on. It sounds like a timer pod or potentiometer.

Thanks I will get that ordered and give it a shot. Is it possible to add a recirculation pump to these livewells or do you think what I have will be sufficient?

A recirculator is always an improvement and that would not be too bad to add.

I live in Mississippi and have the same exact boat. I have never had a problem even in the hottest months.
