I checked FAQs and didnt see a post on the handrail lights so my question is…I noticed one of my handrail lights(2008 Cougar FTD) were dim on one end. Is this something I can fix? Its the driver side rail, end closest to console so I could reach up underneath but when I quickly checked I couldnt feel a bulb. Anyone have any experience with these??Another question, I need to replace a caliper, a trailer shop in Canada should have those correct?-Henry

Henry,I am sure someone else will come along to help answer. I had my lighted hand rail on one side go out on my 06 Puma and took them apart. I seem to recall that there are 2 connections on each end. Since my other side worked, I just ran a jumper to the one that did not work. It saved me a lot of work trying to find where the break in the line was. You have to be careful when you put thenm back in so they dont get twisted and break again. The LED or light is at the end of each of the clear hand rail. The allen screw holds the rail in the part between the 2 rails on each side.I just bought the new caliper assembly from BassCat parts. It came with new pads and was ready to bolt in. I believe the manufacturer is UFP. I would take the one you have with you so you get the correct part.Hope that helpsJohn
