March 14th, 2014, 12:24 am #1 2014-03-14T00:24~I am very interested in the Raymarine depthfinders with the Chirp technology. I wonder if the transducer is mounted on the trolling motor do these units have problems with interference? Does anybody have first hand experience with these units? Thanks!

James Niggemyer has one going over a year at the bow and loves it. Hes very impressed with no issues. James is a stand up guy and would trust every word he says.

Ray Marine is pretty good stuff. BCB does not sell this brand though they do work well.

I was concerned about electronic noise because I want to put the transducer on the trolling motor. I have heard, on this forum, I think, that some down imaging was sensitive to electronic noise. I called Raymarine tech support, and the man I talked to said that no one had reported any problems with trolling motor mounted transducers. I just dont want to spend a bunch of money and have problems.
