Im running a 26 Trophy on my 2005 FTD and 225 XS and I like the overall performance. I can get out of the hole filled with fuel and tourney loads and I can also get her to run on the top end, if needed.Its time I send the Trophy in for some TLC and I was going to go ahead and test out a couple different props to buy so I could have a spare prop in the boat again.I had a Tempest on my Pantera that I really liked and I have been hearing a lot about the Fury.What sizes would you guys recommend for the Tempest and the Fury for my boat/motor combo?

Im guessing 26 is about right. But Id also try 25 too. You might find the 25 works better in warmer conditions. I have a 250 Merc on a Puma and I use a 26 Fury during warm (hot) weather and switch over to a 27 when it cools down — seems Im right on the edge here in South Texas.

Drop down 1 pitch when you switch to the Fury and dont put any PVS plugs in it, I bet youll like it better than the trophy you run now.

I am running a cougar with a mercury 250 opti and a 25p fury with no plugs. This boat runs a lot better with a fury than with a tempest. I am very pleased with the fury.

I have an 04 Cougar/225 Optimax and a 25 Fury was recommended. I was also running a 26 Trophy Plus before.
