Thought I would share what a 2008 Pantera Classic looks like after thieves get ahold of it. Stolen this weekend out of boat storage north of Houston. Found yesterday in this condition. Took virtually everything except rods and reels. They were in my garage thank goodness. It even had a wrap on it that was taken off during the process. With that said, I would like an opinion on the Pantera IV. Ive heard good things about the ride and storage. Any light that can be shed on a P IVs overall performance would be appreciated. Im probably about a month out from being able to get into a new one due to insurance company getting all of their paperwork done.

Usually they strip em then burn em around here. This is fixable, and upgrade electronics etc,,,,,, will make someone a great rig still !

My take is it looks like they were pros. Removing the TM on a bcb requires know how and the right tools.

Been there and had that done! Whatever you do I suggest that you go for the P4 as I bought and rebuilt mine after it was stolen and everytime I looked at or thought about going fishing in it then it would bring back bad memories of being stolen and stripped. I never got over it until I traded it in for a new one. Best of luck on whatever you decide. (I want a P4 also someday…)GeorgeGeorge

On the bright side, your passenger side fender is ready to install. Gotta figure out some way to brighten a dismal day… Sorry for your trouble and hope it gets better. The fender is ready though we know you no longer need it. BCB

Whoever the SOBs that did this to your boat have done this before by the looks of it. There is a big difference in the Classic and PIV with storage and layout . The PIV will handle rough water extremely well and is very nimble when on the troller in shallow water. Speeds will very with set up but you can look at anywhere between 68 and maybe a tad over 70. There is no learning curve to speak of other then this hull does not require/like a lot of trim. I hope everything works out between you and the insurance company. You will really like the PIV.

That is disgusting!!! I know you feel terrible and want to ditch the boat, but if no damage was done to the boat itself and you have good insurance this could be a fine time to put some new gauges, electronics, troller, and a brand new powerhouse on the back and youll have a 5 year old rig as good as new. Of course, If you want a new P-4 dont let me be the one to steer you away. They are awesome platforms for sure. Overall its a good bit more boat than your classic is. Youll sacrifice a little top end but everything else goes to the P-4!! Good luck in your decision.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
