I have an old pre-rapala wiggle wart (with “wiggle wart” printed on the underside of the bill) but it also has a round indentation for the split ring on the top. I have never seen this indentation before, does this mean it is a really really old one and are they any better or worse than the other pre-rap warts. Thanks-Joe.

The ones with the recessed line tie are some of the later ones.They are still pre repala and a real pain if you run certain line snaps. Storm only made that style for maybe a year.

Thanks for the reply. I have asked on other boards with no responses. I figured Storm must have only made a short time and had issues with it since I have never seen one before. Thanks again.-Joe

This is a Wiggle Wart that is somewhere around 30 years old. This is not the original models, though the model just after they became popular and the one right after this is the better one to own. You can see how I have sharpened those hooks like a new Trokar and this is from a dinosaur box of special baits. I have been sharpening those hooks with this method since I started competitive fishing and it does work better. These need a little attn. now. Rick
