Im going to check out a 2015 Puma FTD that has been wrapped since new, until recently. Ive heard that it can be easy for the people installing the wrap to cut the gel. How obvious is it to see the cuts, and where should I look for that? Around contours like the bolt, or around where the wrap ends, such as where the hull meets the boot?Thanks in advance!

Look anywhere and everywhere on the hull and cap.

How common is it for boats to get marked up from u talking a wrap, and how concerned should I be about the long term appearance of the gel?

You will need the wrap removed to properly inspect it. Look any where there will be an edge of the wrap. Around trolling motor, cleats, or any where the wrap would need to be trimmed around. I wrap boats so I know exactly what to look for. It will be a cut in the gel and you should be able to feel it with a finger nail. I see very few that are cut on. I would ask what shop did it and give them a call. If there is a cut in the gel it will need to be fixed before it cracks all the way through. Ive seen some light ones that can be sanded out also.
