I have my 6″ jackplate set at 1/2″ over 150 VMAX 2007 with a Yamaha 25M I heard that the 25m is like 27 pitch. Why I am asking is when I am at 60 mph 5100 rpms can not get no more out of it. If I trim it up more I just gain rpms no speed. Need more pitch or cup.

First try to Lower the engine slightly if you gain RPMs trimming and are not loosing speed. If this reverses the situation then your Good! If you dont gain then post results and we will see where your at?

Sounds to me like you have a wheel too big. Im thinking a 23 would be better and lower the engine.

Phils right. You should be turning around 650 more rpms at wot and the wheels lugging the motor. Get a smaller wheel and the motor up in the power curve – youll find a few mphs.

Try a 23. I was turning a 25M on a 200 HPDI to 6000 RPMs on a P2. You should be able to get that motor up near 5800 RPMs.
