My 2013 Puma FTD came with a Humminbird 1198csi mounted flush in the dash. I believe this unit is 10-1/2″ screen size. I read somewhere that the new Humminbird Helix 10 is just a 10″ screen…but for some reason the unit wont fit flush in the dash of a Puma FTD. Has anyhone here had success installing a Helix 10 (or larger??) mounted flush in the dash of their Puma FTD? Thanks for the insights.I2D.

Helix 10 will fit. Helix 12 will not.

Phil, will the helix 10 fit in a 2012 Jag console?

I would assume so and 99.9% sure it will. The Jag console has not changed over the years and not being able to flush mount at least a 10 today would make zero sense.

If the 2011 console is the older style console with the electronics mounted to the right it will not flush fit. It will need to be installed with a special plate and bracket.

Phil my console is the new style with electronics on both sides, has the small windshield.

A 10 fits then. I dont remember what year model the console changed.Electronics = depth finder, gps

Phil it changed in 2011 my Puma FTD has a 898 in the center of the console, Im thinking of putting a Helix 10.
