I just joined this board. I have wanted my first boat for years. I expected whatever I got would be floating junk since I didnt have a lot to spend. Well today I put a deposit on a 88 Pantera II with a 200 HP evinrude. It needs carpet work an a trolling motor but I got it for a good price. I pick it up March 17. I am like a kid at Christmas!!!

Old ones run and catch fish as well as new ones. I had my 92 Sabre for nearly 15 years of its life and now its making one of my friends very happy. Im sure yours will make you very happy as well. I fished out of an 88 P/2 for 18 years . — I put that boat into places that boats shouldnt go and it just kept on asking for more . — Shes still going strong , and I kinda miss her sometimes . — Lots of GRAND memories , and youre just getting started . — I envy you a bit . — Enjoy your new to you boat . — It will make many memories for you , of which Im sure many will be GRAND !!
