Spiderweb cracks in new Margay

Can anyone tell me how its possible that I can have these cracks on the port side of a new boat I picked up a couple of weeks ago? Its actually on the side wall back next to the passenger seat so I dont see how something could have impacted it. I was showing the boat to a friend and he noticed it because it cast a spiderweb shadow that you can see in the second pic. Is this something I should be worried about beyond not thinking my new boat should have them?

Hard to tell but looks like a impact hit.

Hard to say on the one on the side, though the other is an impact of some type. We dont know what caused it, though star fractures like that are from an im pact sometime. Since it is new odds are against you being the one that caused it. The one on the taepd off area, we really cant see well, get with your dealership and we will see what the situation is. BCB

It seems like a very hard place to actually hit it with anything. its tucked back behind the passenger seat in the space between the seats, but yes it does look like that.

Thats how my friend spotted it in my driveway. Ill shoot a message to the dealer tonight with the pics and get it into them soon since Im waiting on the second console to be installed. Thanks for replying so quickly.

Quick update. An email to the dealer with some pictures and one phone call and they will fix it when the second console goes in next month. You have to love a great dealer (Boatmasters) and a great manufacturer that stand behind the product with no hassle.We did agree that the damage was unusual and in a strange place, but Im just happy to reconfirm that I made the right choice in dealer and boat.
