Way to go BCB Parts (Pete)

I bought a Pole & Step for My 2000 Cougar this year. It arrived in June and I installed it myself and absolutely loved it from the first boarding. This last weekend I fished a club 2-day tournament (Oct 10 & 11) on Aliceville Lake on the Ten-Tom and I really sucked as far as fishing went but had a great time anyway. I got home and parked the boat (after a 3 hour drive) went inside took a shower and walked back outside to clean out the boat and looked up and saw that the brass ball from the top of the pole was missing, it had been stolen while in the parking lot at the boat ramp. There was no other time or place it could have been removed while I was not watching. It took a couple of days stewing before I thought to call BCB and I was connected with Pete in Parts, told him what had happened and asked what I needed to do to get another ball. Pete said ” give me your address and I will send it to you”. No money, no Hassel, only the absolute best of service and true feeling of Family. Thanks, BCB and many Kudos to Pete. Mike

We fished the Tombigbee around Forkland area this passed weekend and had terrible luck too! Water was up tons and current swift to say the least! We have had luck in the past with firetiger cranks, junebug and watermelon candy ribbon tail & Senko texas rigged worms but the entire tackle box did NOT work for us this past weekend. Just wondering what you do in these situations. We tried main channel and shallows and creek mouth opening. We love our Bass Cat TOO!!!! It just spoils you to say the least! Sure glad you got your trailer part and nothing else was tampered with!

I have the step on my 08 puma and wish I had the pole. How did you put it on and is there welding involved? Only thing I do not like about my cat is it is diffcult to get off the front to hook up to the trailer.

What I mean is I have the bottom step so I need the pole and the other smaller step on top. Sure looks alot safer!

The bolt on post is able to be installed on as an aftermarket part. That misses the third step on the 2″ winch stem, though you bolt on the top piece over the winch tube. BCB

Hey Jim, I bought mine all at one time so the step and pole came together and I had to drill Two holes I think 1/2″ and I started with a smaller pilot hole and then drilled the 1/2″ took my time and used 1 bit each size with a really good heavy 1/2″ drill motor and it went well. BCB included the small step for half way up the wench stand and my nephew is a welder and welded it on for me and I had to paint that when he was finished. I really like having the step and pole as it really helps an old fat fart like myself get up and down in the launch mode. Mike

Black most of what was caught was caught on Mr. Hooty white spinnerbaits with chartruese twin-tail trailers. Mike
